This machine is a fixed beam CNC high-speed drilling and milling machine, mainly used for drilling, boring, countersinking, chamfering, grooving and milling operations of workpieces such as molds, flanges, heat exchangers, tube sheets, and slewing supports. It can use carbide drills for internal high-speed drilling with cooling, or high-speed steel twist drills for external drilling with cooling. The drilling depth can reach 10D (10 times the diameter) using a special crown drill. The processing process is CNC-controlled and the operation is very convenient, which can realize automated, high-precision, and multi-variety mass production.

The PM4030 series of high-speed CNC fixed beam drilling and milling machines inherits the advantages of traditional gantry machine tools, such as strong rigidity of the basic frame, symmetrical structure, and strong stability. By optimizing the reinforcement structure and reasonably distributing the mass, the machine has strong rigidity. It has multiple processing functions such as milling, boring, drilling (drilling, expanding, reaming), tapping, countersinking, etc., and is suitable for various mechanical processing fields such as automobiles, molds, aerospace, packaging, hardware, etc.

The CNC system of this machine adopts a full set of Siemens 828D bus version control system, and is equipped with an RS232 interface and an LCD liquid crystal display. The drilling coordinates can realize direct conversion from CAD/CAM, which facilitates programming, storage, display and communication. The operation interface has functions such as human-computer dialogue, error compensation, and automatic alarm.
The transmission system adopts an AC servo motor, which drives the heavy-load ball screw to rotate after passing through a low backlash reducer to achieve linear reciprocating motion of the X-axis. The screw support adopts a fixed pre-stretching structure at both ends.
